I've just finished my contract as a domestic helper in Saudi Arabia. My main job was to clean the house in the mornings, but I also took care of an 8-year-old child and prepared simple meals for him. The employer, who I call Madam, usually cooks dinner after she comes home from work, so I just make sure the kitchen is ready for her. I also clean her car once a week. When she's in another town, I look after the child and take him to playdates at the mall.

I can work independently since the kids are at school during the day. I really like having a schedule to keep everything organized. If there are duties or tasks that I've not done before, I'm open to learning from my new employer. I'm eager to grow and adapt in my next role.
