Hi there! I hope you're having a great day. My name is Mailyn, and I'm from the Philippines. I'm 43 years old, married, and a proud mom of three kids: a 21-year-old son, a 17-year-old daughter, and a 9-year-old girl. I graduated from college with a degree in education, focusing on general education and preschool. I have almost 12 years of experience teaching kindergarten in public schools here in the Philippines. I really love teaching and working with kids! I’ve learned the importance of being patient, especially when you’re with young children. Patience is key in teaching, and I always try to keep that in mind. As a hardworking mother, I can endure a lot and adapt to different situations. I’m also quite flexible and can manage multiple tasks at once. After my teaching experience, I worked in Hong Kong for 1 year, but I had to break my contract because of family issues that needed my attention. My employer understood, and I have a letter signed by them if needed. After that, I worked as a babysitter for a 3-month-old baby in a Chinese family here in Manila. My contract lasted for six months, and my main duty was childcare. Currently, I'm a babysitter for a 1-month-old baby, and I've been in this job since August 5 of last year, so I'm almost a year in this role. My skills span childcare, tutoring, and a bit of housekeeping. One of my weaknesses is cooking Chinese food, but I'm eager to learn and improve my skills in that area. I mainly cook Filipino dishes, which I’m comfortable with. If given the chance to work with you, I promise to do my very best.
