Manelyn

My name is Manelyn. I’m 35, and I have two kids. I’ve worked as a childcare worker for 6 years in Qatar and then spent 15 months in Hong Kong. My life can get pretty hectic. When babies need you, even in the middle of the night, you have to be there for them. I believe in treating them like my own, which makes the job easier and more enjoyable. Every day brings new challenges, but I learn a lot from them, and I hope they learn from me too. I have many fun ideas for play and learning activities. With my employer’s support, we create some great experiences together. I think life works better when employers and employees take care of each other. My main role has been as a childcare worker, but I’ve also cooked for my employer in Hong Kong. They would tell me what they wanted, send me YouTube links, and I’d follow the recipes. I’m a fast learner and a good listener, always ready to help out when needed.
