Hi, I’m Maretes. I’m 36 years old and a single mom with one child. I’ve been working in Singapore for about 13 years now. My first job was caring for elderly couples for a Singaporean family from 2013 to 2014. Then I worked for another Singaporean family where I looked after an uncle who was bedridden until he passed away in 2014. After that, my third employer was from China, and I took care of two adults and an infant from 2014 to 2015. My main tasks were cleaning, cooking, and other household duties. In my fourth job, also with a Chinese family, I cared for four adults and a toddler from 2015 to 2018. I mostly handled household chores and helped with the little one while the in-laws took care of him. My fifth employer was from Finland; I worked with them from 2018 to 2019, looking after a newborn baby while doing cooking and household chores. They later moved back to Finland. Then I found work with a Canadian family, taking care of two adults and two kids from 2019 to 2021, but they also migrated to Canada. My most recent job was with another Canadian family where I worked for one adult, doing cooking, household chores, and marketing from 2021 to 2025 until they no longer needed me.

I consider myself honest, trustworthy, kind, responsible, independent, patient, and thoughtful. I’m also someone who believes in God and is eager to learn new things. I tend to be a bit shy, but I have a good sense of humor and build strong bonds with my employers.

If you’re thinking of hiring me, I can provide references from my previous employer in Finland as we’ve kept in touch. I really hope you consider me for the position, as I need to get back to work to support my son’s school fees and other needs. I don’t have anyone else to rely on but myself.
