Dear future employers, I’m Marianne, 38 years old. I’m a single mother of two teenagers who are both heading off to college. I’ve got 10 years of experience working as a helper in Hong Kong with two different Chinese families, 7 years with one and 3 years with the other until my employer sadly passed away. After that, I moved to her daughter-in-law’s home, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out. I ended up going back to the Philippines to take a break after five years without visiting home.
