Hello Ma’am/Sir! My name is Marichel. I'm 43 years old, married, and I have two wonderful kids, one who is 12 and the other is just 1. I live in the city of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines. I graduated from college with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Home Economics. I’ve gained quite a bit of experience working abroad; I spent over 2 years as a domestic helper and nanny in Singapore, and then over 7 years working for a royal family in Dubai. Most recently, I worked for over 5 years in housekeeping at Hamad Hospital in Qatar. In Singapore, I worked for a Chinese family with 6 members — 2 adults and 4 kids. My tasks included cleaning the house, cooking meals, doing laundry, ironing, washing the car, and getting groceries. I also took care of the children’s daily needs, which included feeding them, dropping them off and picking them up from school, helping with their homework, reading books, and making sure they stayed safe and clean. In Dubai, I worked for a local royal family of 5 adults. My work involved multitasking: cleaning, preparing and serving food, checking the expiry dates of food and medicines, shopping, doing laundry and ironing, and running errands. I was mostly focused on taking care of the daily needs of the eldest princess. Because I was so dedicated to this family, they even took me with them on trips to various countries. Through all these experiences as a helper/nanny and in housekeeping, I’ve learned so many important things like discipline, patience, honesty, and being adaptable. I’m a fast learner, and I always try to do my best and improve my skills. I believe these qualities will help me succeed in your work environment.
