I've learned a lot about being patient, listening, and being supportive. I know it's important to be professional and responsible in my role, making sure I take good care of the people I work with. Good communication and interpersonal skills are key in the care field, and being able to listen and understand really helps me be a better caregiver. In my previous job, I cared for the elderly, helping with their basic needs, taking vital signs, giving medications, preparing meals, and providing companionship. I've also worked with children, where I focused on bathing, feeding, preparing food, and ensuring their safety. I have two dogs, a Belgian Malinois and a Golden Retriever, so I also have some experience with taking care of pets.
