Hello, I'm Marie Pauline, 36 years old, and I’m a single mom to four kids—two boys and two girls. I worked as a domestic helper in Saudi Arabia for six years with one family. My job included cleaning the house, helping with cooking, doing the marketing with my employer, and taking care of their four children. When I started, the kids were 7 years old, 22 months, and a 6-month-old baby. When I left, they were 13, 8, 6 and a half, and 4 months old. My second job as a domestic helper was in Hong Kong for 2 years and 5 months with another family. I mainly took care of a 19-month-old baby, which included sleeping with them, taking them to school, cooking, marketing, and other household tasks. I can work without supervision, and I pride myself on being loyal, trustworthy, and a good listener. I believe in treating people well because I’m a bit wary of bad karma. I always treated my previous employers like my own family.
