Hello Ma’am/Sir, good day. My name is Mariel, I am from the Philippines. I worked for 6 years with a local family of four adults and two children. My duties included housekeeping, caring for the children, and helping with their small grocery store. At the same time, I was also a student, and after graduating with my four‑year degree, I worked as a bookkeeper for five months in their gasoline station business.

I truly valued those 6 years because I learned so much and became part of their family. They appreciated me for being trustworthy and hardworking, and I enjoyed my work even when it was challenging. After resigning to get married, I became an ESL teacher for six months, teaching Chinese students. Later, I volunteered as a teacher for two years in the Department of Education here in the Philippines.

I am dedicated, responsible, and passionate about my work. I believe my background in childcare, household management, teaching, and bookkeeping has given me valuable skills that I can bring to a new employer. Thank you very much.
