I worked in Singapore for 6 years with the same family. In my first year, I was a helper, taking care of daily routines in and outside the house since they had a garden. They were really kind to me. Unfortunately, my employer got sick and was often in and out of the hospital. They encouraged me to enroll in a short caregiver course, which I completed. After that, I began working as a caregiver for him. He passed away after 4 years, but I continued to work with the family until my contract was up, and then I looked for a new employer.
