Marjorie

Good day, ma'am/sir. My name is Marjorie, and I’m 28 years old. I'm married and I don’t have kids yet. I’m the eldest in my family and I graduated from high school. I have 4 years of experience in the Philippines, where I mainly took care of a 5-month-old baby. My responsibilities included feeding, burping, bathing, changing clothes, ensuring hygiene, and making sure the baby was safe. I also handled household chores like cleaning the house from top to bottom, sweeping, mopping, washing and ironing clothes, going to the market, and cooking dishes like adobo, sinigang, and paksiw.

I also have 2 years of experience in Hong Kong, where I took care of two kids, aged 4 and 7 years old. My daily routine started at 6 AM when I would get myself ready. By 6:15 AM, I’d prepare breakfast for the kids. At 6:30 AM, I woke them up, helped them change clothes, and after breakfast, they got ready to go out. I would take them to the bus station and then go back home to have my breakfast and start with the household chores, sweeping, washing clothes, and cleaning the house. Once I finished all the chores, I could take a little break since I was alone at home for most of the day.

In the afternoon, I picked the kids up from the bus station, helped them change, and made them a snack. We would play a bit and then they did their homework, and I helped tutor them. After that, we would play together or I’d read books to them. At 6 PM, I cooked dinner for the three of us, while my ma’am and sir usually bought their dinner outside. After dinner, I washed the dishes, helped the kids take a bath, vacuumed the floor, read them books, and then I would take out the garbage. By 10 PM it was time for my own rest.
