Hello, future employer. My name is Mary Ann, and I’m 35 years old. I’m a single mother of two daughters, who are 14 and 16. I have a vocational background in Computer Science. My first job abroad was in Kuwait, where I worked as a nanny for two little ones—a 2-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy. I took care of them, making sure to feed them, play with them at the park and mall, and take them to visit their grandparents. I also helped with house chores like cleaning, laundry, cooking, and ironing whenever their parents were busy.

After that, I worked in Qatar as a nanny and cook. I took care of five children, but my main focus was on the youngest one, a 5-year-old boy. I prepared meals for them and planned healthy diets for the family. Plus, I managed the grocery budget and kept the house clean.

My third job was in Romania, where I spent two years caring for my employers’ parents. I handled daily needs, including cooking and preparing their meals, taking care of their two pets, cleaning, gardening, laundry, and reminding them to take their medicine. I also accompanied them on grocery trips. I then extended my stay for another two years, focusing on taking care of the pets, which included caring for two cats and three dogs—one of which was a rescue. I continued with my house duties, gardening, cooking, and laundry as well.
