Mary Ann

Hi, I’m Mary Ann, I’m 38 years old and happily married with one child. My first experience working abroad was in Beirut, Lebanon, where I stayed for 2 years. I worked for two siblings, and my tasks included cleaning the house, doing laundry, helping in the kitchen, and taking care of the brother. This meant giving him medicine, changing his clothes, and assisting him when he ate.

My second job abroad was in Dubai, UAE, but I was there for only 10 months. Unfortunately, my employer wasn’t very nice to me. She often shouted and made up stories about me, plus she never gave us a day off. That’s when I decided it was best to return to the Philippines.

I consider myself a hard-working person. I really focus on my work and my goals in life. Family is everything to me, and I want to work abroad again to support them. I'm willing to make sacrifices for my family to ensure they have a better life. I want to meet their basic needs and give my mother the life she deserves while she’s still here with us, and I want to make sure my son can go to a good school for his future.
