Mary Joy

Hi there! My name is Mary Joy, and I’m 36 years old from the Philippines. I’m applying for the Domestic Helper and Caretaker position. I have solid experience in taking care of both children and the elderly.

From 2020 to 2025, I was a full-time caregiver for my mother and sister who both had cancer. I learned a lot about patience and compassion while taking care of their daily needs.

Before that, between 2010 and 2014, I worked as a home helper and babysitter for a family. I looked after an 8-year-old boy, helping him with meals, homework, and making sure he was safe and happy. I also cared for a baby from 2 months to 1 year old. I know how to bottle feed, change diapers, put the baby to sleep, and keep an eye on them throughout the day.

I can cook Filipino dishes, do laundry, ironing, and general housekeeping. I’m patient, caring with children, and I make sure to follow instructions carefully. I also completed a TESDA Hilot course for basic caregiving.

While I work in Hong Kong, my partner of 15 years will take care of my children, so I can focus completely on my job and commit to my work with honesty and dedication.
