I am Melanie, 34 years old and a single mom with one child. I've worked over 1 year working in Hong Kong as a domestic helper. In my previous job, I worked with another helper, and we shared the household chores, although she mainly took care of the cooking. My main responsibility was to take care of a 3-year-old boy. I helped him with his homework, washed his clothes and milk bottles, and played with him at the playground. I also took him to school and picked him up afterward. My employers own three cars, but we weren't responsible for cleaning them. I'm hard-working, honest, and dependable, and I can work with little supervision. I’m patient, kind, and flexible, and I have a strong faith. I truly care about the children I look after and adapt easily to new environments. If you give me a chance to work with your family, I promise to care for your child as if they were my own. I will do my best to fulfill my duties and responsibilities.
