Michaela

My name is Michaela. I’m 30 years old, married, and have two kids: a 12-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl. I worked as a domestic helper in Hong Kong for 8 months, where I looked after two children, ages 11 and 5. My job involved taking them to school, picking them up, playing with them, helping with homework, feeding them, and doing some housework like cleaning, washing clothes, washing dishes, cooking, and sometimes shopping. I also took care of a cat by feeding it every day and cleaning the litter box.

In the Philippines, I worked for a family of three for 2 years. My duties included cleaning their house, cooking, and taking care of their baby.
