Hello, I’m Mitchel. I have experience from my first job where I took care of a baby, a 2-year-old, and a 5-year-old. I also helped their mother, who has Alzheimer's disease. Besides that, I took care of their dogs and cat, cleaned the house, did laundry, and cooked sometimes. I even went to the market when needed. For my second job in Hong Kong, I found the people there very nice. My employer owned a clothing business. My day would start at 5:30 AM. My first task was doing laundry, and then I would iron a lot of clothes. After that, I’d prepare simple meals for their 7-year-old daughter, who left for school by 6:40 AM. I would then help get their 4-year-old ready to go to school at 8:15 AM since her school was about 30 minutes away by bus. When I got back home, I would clean again and prepare food for the 7-year-old. My employer usually woke up around 10 or 11 AM. She did live selling of dresses, and I helped her pack and deliver items to clients. My days were very busy, and I often went to bed around 1:30 AM. While I didn’t mind the long hours, I did ask for at least 5 hours of sleep, but it was hard to get that. Now I’m back in the Philippines and looking for a new job. I’m hoping to find a new employer because I’m hardworking, honest, loyal, and caring, and I’m good at multitasking. I promise to do my best and if there are children, I will care for them as if they were my own. I will also make sure to finish my contract. I’m a member of Iglesia ni Cristo, or Church of Christ, and we worship every Saturday or Sunday. I would ask my future employer to allow me some time to go to church, and after that, I’m happy to work for free on Sundays if needed. I would be very thankful for that.
