Hello Prospective Employers,
I'm really happy and excited to get back to work after taking a year off. I took that time because of the pandemic and I needed a break.
I'm an honest, hardworking, and trustworthy person. I like to keep things drama-free in my life. I love working and I'm very active, energetic, and flexible. I'm healthy and I enjoy going for walks as part of my exercise routine. I also love to dance and let myself move. In my past jobs, I’ve had many colleagues who do yoga and swim, which I think is great! I can read, write, and speak English. I know how to follow and respect rules, regulations, and boundaries. I don’t have any vices or tattoos, and I dress modestly.
When it comes to child care, I started working with kids when I was just 16 years old. I have experience with newborns and toddlers, working with diplomats, doctors, lawyers, and VIP families in six different countries. I’ve worked with many kids from all different backgrounds. In Hong Kong, I organized playdates for 42 toddlers aged 4 months to 24 months, from nationalities like French, British, Canadian, Italian, Korean, Chinese, and many others.
The kids I’ve worked with have taught me so much, and my experiences have made me a better, more focused, and caring person, especially in today’s digital world.
I can organize fun and educational playdates, usually at gardens and beaches.
As for cleaning, I’m good at keeping things neat and tidy. I like to have a clean house, kitchen, and bathrooms.
I can cook, but I always check with my employers first on what they prefer. I believe food is important for our health!
I can help with meal planning and healthy snacks.
During my time abroad, I took short courses to upgrade my skills, like English language, caregiving, nurse aide training, and computers.
I've had two male bosses who are chefs (Lebanese French) from 1991 to 1997. I also worked with a Taiwanese lady boss who is a chef from 1997 to 2004. I was a kitchen housekeeper helper for a diplomat in Singapore from 2005 to 2008, working with a team of six staff.
Regarding marketing, I understand that every employer has their own ideas and styles, but I can share what I know when needed. I prioritize eating fresh, healthy foods myself.
For laundry, I can handle washing, ironing, and I know how to read labels.
I enjoy gardening and have my own farm.
When it comes to elderly care, I have experience with patients who have various conditions, including COPD, kidney transplants, dementia, and Alzheimer's.
I also have experience caring for pets—I’ve taken care of six dogs and one cat.
I don’t have much experience with car washing, but I can clean if needed.
In terms of employer-employee relationships, I believe in respecting boundaries and privacy. Honesty and calmness are key. It’s important to talk things through, especially with older kids who sometimes think they’re in charge. I enjoy having open conversations at the table to keep things running smoothly every day.
Thank you very much. God bless our journey.
I look forward to finding my perfect match.
Sincerely,
Myrna
