I am Necelyn, 45 years old, married with 3 kids. I have 2 years of hands-on experience as a domestic helper in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, working with a local family of 4 in Jeddah. My responsibilities included thorough household cleaning, from regular dusting, mopping, and sanitizing all areas to organizing storage spaces and maintaining cleanliness in the majlis (guest area) according to cultural etiquette. I prepared daily Halal meals, including traditional Saudi dishes like Kabsa, Harees, and Luqaimat, as well as Filipino and other international cuisines the family enjoyed. I ensured all ingredients were sourced from certified Halal suppliers and followed proper food handling practices.

For laundry and fabric care, I managed washing, ironing, and folding of all clothing and linens, taking special care with delicate fabrics and traditional garments like thobes and abayas. I also assisted with grocery shopping, keeping track of supplies and sticking to the family’s budget.

In terms of childcare, I supported the two children aged 7 and 10 with their Arabic and English homework, helped them prepare for school, and organized supervised indoor and outdoor activities that aligned with local cultural guidelines. I was mindful of prayer times, ensuring the household routine accommodated them, and always maintained respect for gender roles and privacy within the home.

I am reliable, meticulous, and deeply respectful of Saudi customs and Islamic traditions. I take initiative in anticipating the family’s needs, can work independently with minimal supervision, and am patient and adaptable when adjusting to changes in routine or household requirements.
