Hello, my future employer! You can call me Phem. I’m 41 years old and from the Philippines. I’m married and blessed with two kids; an 8-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy. I’ve completed some college courses, studying for a Bachelor’s in Science and Nursing. I have experience working as a domestic helper. From 2013 to 2015, I worked in Saudi Arabia, where my main job was taking care of a 2-year-old boy. I also did household chores like cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, doing laundry, and ironing. After that, I worked in Hong Kong for two different employers. My first job was from 2019 to 2021, where I took care of a 7-month-old baby girl and a 3-year-old boy. My main responsibilities were looking after the kids, keeping them safe, changing their clothes and diapers, bathing them, and feeding them. I also prepared nutritious meals, played with them, and read learning books. Besides childcare, I handled household tasks like cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, ironing, shopping, and even washing the car. In my last job, I took care of an elderly woman who was 83 years old. I helped her with bathing and changing clothes, assisted her whenever she needed something, went for walks, gave soft massages, and did household chores like cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, doing laundry, and shopping.
