Reminda

My name is Reminda. I’m 39 years old and married, and I have three children, two boys, ages 12 and 5, and a girl who is 2. I studied AB Library Science in college but didn't finish my degree.

As for my work experience, I’ve worked as a housemaid here in the Philippines for almost 2 years, from 2021 to 2023. I took care of a family with two kids, a 2-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. My main responsibility was looking after the 5-year-old. My daily routine involved getting up early to prepare her breakfast, feeding her, and helping her take a bath. After that, I would walk her to the highway to catch her school bus. I also handled house chores like cleaning and laundry. In the evenings, I helped her with her homework before bed.

I want to work so I can provide for my children and support my family. I don't know how to cook Chinese dishes yet, but I'm eager to learn and be trained. I also have some other skills like gardening, knitting, hand sewing, and I have basic computer knowledge.

I believe a good domestic helper should be hardworking, patient, kind, trustworthy, honest, understanding, friendly, respectful, polite, cheerful, and love children.
