Hello to my future employer,

My name is Rosalinda. I’m 40 years old and a single mom to a 14-year-old son. Right now, I live in Sitio Buli, Barangay Gaas, Baybay City, Leyte, Philippines. I come from a big family with 9 siblings, 4 boys and 5 girls, and I’m the third child.

I’ve worked for many years here in the Philippines as a local domestic helper. I’ve served a family of four, with two adults and two kids. During the day, my main responsibility is taking care of the kids, which includes cooking, washing clothes, and cleaning the house. In the evenings, I attend school because I’m also a working student.

I also have 6 years of experience working abroad in Taiwan. I spent 4 years as a live-in caregiver, taking care of the elderly. My duties included cooking simple Chinese dishes, doing laundry, and looking after the elderly. After that, I worked in a nursing home for 2 years with similar responsibilities.

I graduated from college with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. While I can cook simple Chinese dishes, I know I could improve, and I’m eager to learn more about Chinese cooking. I really enjoy taking care of newborns, adults, and the elderly. Thank you for considering me!
