Rosemarie

My name is Rosemarie Plaza. I am 39 years old, married, and blessed with three children: two daughters aged 18 and 17, and one son who is 3 years old. I am a High School Graduate and I have completed Caregiving NC II and Healthcare Services NC II courses. I am currently living in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.

I have 5 years of work experience abroad in Kuwait with one employer, and I successfully completed my contract. My main duties there included household chores such as cooking, laundry, cleaning, ironing clothes, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the house.

I also have experience in taking care of newborn babies, toddlers, and infants here in the Philippines. My main duties included changing diapers, feeding and burping the baby, bathing, monitoring the baby's health, singing songs, playing with them, and teaching them colors, shapes, and parts of the body.

In addition, I completed Caregiving NC II and Healthcare Services NC II training, where I learned how to care for new born babies, infants and elderly people, as well as basic first aid in case of emergencies.

At present, I am working in the Philippines as a caregiver for an 85-year-old elderly person in a Chinese family. My main duties include assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility assistance. I also prepare nutritious meals, administer prescribed medications according to the doctor's instructions and the family's guidance, and monitor vital signs.

I consider myself hardworking, honest, patient, and able to multitask. I am willing to learn, respectful of different cultures, and able to follow my employer’s rules and instructions.
