Good day, ma'am/sir. I’ve worked abroad in Singapore from 2007 to 2020. My first employer had a two-story house with five rooms, and I worked for them for two years. The family included the ma'am/sir and their three children, who were ages 20, 25, and 30. My main duties included keeping the house clean, washing and ironing clothes, and sometimes doing the grocery shopping. I also did some cooking. After finishing my two-year contract, I moved on to my second employer, where I worked for ten years. They lived in an HDB flat with three rooms and had two children and a baby granddaughter. My responsibilities there were similar: cleaning the house, laundry, cooking, grocery shopping, and sometimes helping to care for the baby by giving her baths, making her milk, and feeding her. I consider myself an independent woman who can work without supervision. I’m trustworthy, respectful, and always try to stay positive. If you give me the chance to work with you, I promise to take great care of your home and your family. I’ll treat your kids as my own, love them, and look after them well.
