Hello, my name is Sharon. I'm from the Philippines, and I have 12 years of experience as a Foreign Domestic Helper, both locally and abroad. I've mainly worked with school-aged children, specifically those who are 6, 8, and 10 years old. In my childcare experience, I take care of their daily routines. In the morning, I prepare their uniforms, pack healthy snacks and water bottles, and drop them off at school. After school, I pick them up, prepare snacks, and help them with their homework and online classes. I also assist them in studying for tests, especially in English and Math, and I encourage them to develop good study habits. I make sure to prepare nutritious meals, keep their rooms and study areas tidy, wash and iron their school clothes, and manage their after-school activities, like playtime or tutorials. I teach them good manners, discipline, and independence while ensuring they are safe. As for my personality, I am patient, responsible, and trustworthy. I’m friendly and cheerful, so the kids feel comfortable with me, but I know how to be firm and consistent when it comes to rules. I respect the way parents choose to raise their children and I follow instructions carefully. I stay calm under pressure and I communicate well. I’m hardworking, honest, and I treat the children I care for like they’re my own family. I hope to find a kind employer who values their helper.
