I’ve been working in the Philippines for 6 years from 2018 to 2024 with my last employer. I finished my contract there, and my duties included cooking, doing laundry, cleaning the house, ironing, marketing, and taking care of three children aged 15, 12, and 8. I also have experience caring for a child with autism. Before that, I worked in the UAE as a domestic helper for 5 months, but I didn’t finish my contract due to conflicts with my employer. They hired me in the UAE but sent me to Saudi Arabia instead. My contract stated I would work for a family of three, but when I arrived, I had to serve 8 adults and 7 kids. I didn’t really get proper rest or sleep, and the food wasn’t great. I decided to go back to my agency to find a different job, but they wanted me to return to my previous employer, which is why I came back to the Philippines. To my future employer, ma'am or sir, I really hope you consider me as your helper. I’m hardworking, trustworthy, and honest. I love cooking and I will treat your children like my own.
