I took care of an elderly woman who was 92 years old. My main job was to keep her safe and help her with moving around, like transferring her from the bed to the wheelchair and back. I also accompanied her to doctor appointments, prepared her medications and meals, and provided her with companionship and support. I helped with household chores like cleaning and cooking, too. Since she was bedridden, I assisted her with bathing in bed, helped her change clothes, and changed her diaper as needed. Every day, I gave her insulin and checked her blood sugar levels.
