Hello, I’m Arie Mei. I'm from Indonesia, and I’m married. I'm 44 years old. I’ve got about 5 years of experience as a Domestic Helper here in Singapore. I've been with my current employer for 2 years now, and my contract will finish on February 1, 2027. My main duties include taking care of the children and their grandmother. The grandmother is quite healthy and goes to daycare from around 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. While she’s there, I take care of the household chores and help with the kids, including taking them to and from school. Every day, I also prepare and cook dinner for the family. I am patient, responsible, and organized, and I always do my best at work. I’m looking to work in a household with about four to five family members. This kind of setting will help me focus on my responsibilities and provide good care and service. I would also really appreciate the chance to take annual leave to visit my children and elderly parents back home. I know taking leave can come with costs, so I’d be open to discussing how we could share those expenses with my employer.
