My name is Gerlyn, 37 years old, with 3 kids aged 13, 11, and 9, and I am from the Philippines. I have been working as a domestic helper for 6 years in the Philippines, mainly caring for children and managing household tasks. For the past 4 years, I have been employed here in Singapore with my current employer, a family of two adults and two kids aged 7 and 10. My contract will finish on October 18, 2026. My responsibilities include caring for the children, dropping them off and picking them up from school, bringing them to lessons, tutoring, and handling all household chores such as cleaning, ironing, washing clothes, cooking, and even washing the car.
