Hello, I’m Lugiena from the Philippines. I am 30 years old and a single mother to my 8-year-old daughter. I hold a college degree and am a practicing Catholic. For the past 6 years, I have been working as a domestic helper in Singapore for a Chinese family, where I have been fortunate to have only one employer. The family consists of six members: an elderly couple (referred to as Ma'am and Sir), two boys aged 5 and 6, and the second helper. We live in a 3-bedroom HDB flat. My primary responsibilities include caring for the two boys since they were newborns, which involves dropping them off and picking them up from school, as well as performing household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking simple meals. I am currently not affiliated with an agency. Due to my circumstances and home setup, I am looking to change employers for new experiences and personal growth. After discussing my intentions with my employer, we have come to an agreement, and she supports my decision to find a new family. I am comfortable around pets, as I have experience caring for both cats and dogs at home. I can also follow recipes for cooking. My expected salary is between 850 and 900 SGD.
