Hi, my name is Maricel. I’m 37 years old, a high school graduate, and a single parent of two kids who are 20 and 17 years old. I have experience working in Doha, Qatar as a domestic helper for 2 years and 5 months. My responsibilities there included cooking, cleaning the house, shopping for groceries, laundry, ironing, and taking care of children.

Right now, I’m working in Singapore as a domestic helper. I've been with the same employer for almost 4 years, and my second contract will finish at the end of March 2026. My duties here are pretty similar: cleaning the house, shopping, cooking, laundry, ironing, and looking after children. A big part of my job also involves taking care of a bedridden patient.
