Hello, employer, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Rena, I’m 29 years old, divorced, and I have one child. I'm from Indonesia. For the past four years, I’ve been working as a domestic helper in Singapore with my current employer, and my contract finishes on November 17, 2026. My employer has decided not to continue the work contract because the child I’ve been caring for is now 11 years old and really doesn’t need a helper anymore. Every day, I used to take her to school, cook meals, clean the house, and do the grocery shopping. I also cared for an elderly person.
