Rovelyn

Hello! My name is Rovelyn, and I’m 46 years old. I’m married and have four children. I’m originally from the Philippines and have been working as a domestic helper here in Singapore for 16 years.

Throughout my time here, I have worked with different families, including Singaporeans, expatriate Italians, and other Filipino families.

Before Singapore, I was also a domestic helper in Hong Kong.

Here’s a bit about my experience:

I have cared for newborns, infants, and children. I’m experienced in household management, cooking, dog care, and all sorts of household chores.

For the past three years, I’ve been with my current employer, who has two adults and two kids (ages 3 and 8). I am available to transfer on February 4, 2026.

I'm looking for a new employer because my current employer is relocating.

In my job, I take care of a newborn girl and handle various tasks.

My responsibilities include:

• Childcare
• Cooking, shopping for groceries, and general household chores
• Sending and fetching the children from school
• Using public transport
• Tutoring and assisting the kids with homework
• Arranging playdates and taking them to outdoor and indoor playgrounds

I am able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The reason I want to continue working is to support my children's education. One of my sons will be starting college this year, and my other son is currently in his third year of nursing school. It means a lot to me to see them complete their education and achieve their dreams. I am fully committed to working hard and doing everything I can to help them reach their goals.
