Hello, my name is Siti. I’m 27 years old, divorced, with 1 child. I’m from Indonesia, and I’ve been working as a domestic helper in Singapore for over 2 years now. My first job was with an Indian Muslim family for one year. I took care of one elderly person and five adults. My main responsibility was looking after a 93-year-old woman with dementia who couldn’t move on her own. I helped with feeding, bathing, changing her diapers, and moving her from the bed to her wheelchair. Now, I’ve been with a Singaporean family for 1 year and 3 months. There are two adults and two kids, plus one baby. I am taking care of the kids, especially since one of them has special needs. I also help with school drop-offs and pick-ups, doing household chores, simple cooking, and grocery shopping. I’m planning to break my contract on December 1, 2026, and I hope to find a great employer here where I can contribute to the household. Thank you.
