Hello, I’m Umi. I’m 43 years old, divorced, and I have three children. I’m from Indonesia. For the past five years, I’ve been working as a domestic helper in Singapore. My first employer was an Indian Muslim family, and I took care of three children and two adults with them. I’ve been with my current employer for three years now, looking after three adults, and I will finish my contract on July 12, 2026. Before this, I cared for an elderly person who was bedridden because of a stroke. I approached that role with love, patience, and honesty. I also manage household tasks like cleaning and cooking.
