Hello Madam/Sir, my name is Vanessa. I am a 41‑year‑old Filipino, married, and I have been working in Singapore for 9 years and 5 months with the same employer, renewing my contract five times. I take care of two girls, now aged 11 and 13. The eldest has autism, and I wake up early at 5:12 AM to prepare them for school. After they leave on the school bus, I go to the supermarket to buy ingredients for lunch and dinner. In the household, there are four family members.
