My name is Charlyn. I am Filipino and separated. I'm 48 years old and currently in the United Arab Emirates. I have 13 years of experience as a Domestic Helper.

I've worked in Kuwait for 4 years, where my main duties included cleaning, washing clothes, and ironing. Before that, I spent 4 years in Hong Kong doing similar work, including cleaning and cooking dinner. I also took care of my madam's 8-year-old daughter, dropping her off at school and going with her to activities. After that, I worked in Doha, Qatar, for 2 years taking care of an elderly lady. Then, I worked for another family in Doha for another 2 years, mainly looking after a small baby. Right now, I’m in Dubai, where I've been taking care of a baby who was just 4 months old when I arrived. Now, he is 1 year and 4 months old. I decided to break my contract and was released on July 30, 2026, mainly because I had to work 24 hours a day without any breaks or proper meals.
