Hi, I'm Lilian. I'm 36 years old, married, and have one child. I'm from Kenya. I've built my childcare and domestic skills through two long-term jobs in the Gulf region, which adds up to nearly 9 years of experience in households and as a nanny. Between January 2014 and January 2016, I worked for 2 years in Saudi Arabia, where I looked after two young kids aged 2 and 4, while also managing all the household chores. My main duties there involved supervising and caring for the children and taking care of everything that needed doing at home. This was really the start of my career in domestic work.

After my time in Saudi Arabia, I moved to the UAE in September 2019 and worked with a British family until June, which totals over 7 years in that role. I took care of three school-aged children, aged 4, 7, and 10, and I had full responsibility for getting them ready for school each day. My contract finished on June 30, 2026.

During my time with this family, I also expanded my cooking skills quite a bit. I learned to make various Middle Eastern dishes, like molokhia, béchamel, and cooked green beans and peas, so I could adapt to their family preferences. In both of my jobs, I managed a wide range of household tasks alongside my childcare duties, which shows that I can handle domestic operations while providing attentive care to children of different ages.
