Hi, I’m Mercy from Kenya. I’m 43 years old and I have three kids. Right now, I’m living in Dubai and I’ve been working as a domestic helper for 12 years. My first employer was also Kenyan, and I worked with them for three years. It was a family of three: a mother and her two kids, aged 4 and 6. My second job was with a family from the UK who had a five-week-old baby, and I stayed with them for four years. After that, I worked in Saudi Arabia for two years with a family of seven. Then, I spent two years in Lebanon with a family of three. Here in Dubai, I worked for a French family, but unexpectedly, they canceled my contract after just nine months. I was terminated and released on May 28, 2026. Now, I’m looking for a new job. Thank you.
