Hong Kong Red Cross

Additional Services

Founded in 1950, Hong Kong Red Cross has since stood to serve the sick and vulnerable in Hong Kong, keeping up with its mission for the wider world. With a primary focus on protecting human life, Hong Kong Red Cross plays a pivotal role in creating opportunities through which fellow citizens can lend a helping hand to others around them. As a not-for-profit healthcare aid agency, Hong Kong Red Cross has played a crucial and diverse role in Hong Kong’s welfare through the help of thousands of volunteers. Hong Kong Red Cross has spearheaded blood transfusions in the city, providing for the needy in Hong Kong. It also organizes volunteers and humanitarian aid during natural disasters, owing to the public and private donations it receives from around the world. Among its many other services to public wellbeing, Hong Kong Red Cross conducts public talks to create better awareness about healthcare among vulnerable sectors of the population.

To support more domestic workers, Hong Kong Red Cross is exclusively providing 2 free courses for Foreign Domestic Helpers in Hong Kong (First Aid Kit for Vulnerable Groups and Public Education Talk). More Information are provided in the Services section.
