Chinese Family in Fortress Hill looking for helper

Family Background:

We are a family of two adults and a newborn baby(estimated due date: Jan 2027). An elderly family member will occasionally join us to assist with baby care. Both parents are dedicated working professionals seeking a reliable and compassionate helper to support our daily household operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Primary focus on newborn baby care, which includes feeding, diaper changing, bathing, soothing, and maintaining a safe, hygienic environment.
• Assist with night care as needed (shared responsibility).
• General housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and ironing (shared arrangement).
• Prepare simple and healthy meals, with a preference for Chinese cuisine.
• Perform grocery shopping and other household errands.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in newborn or infant care (preferably with children aged 0–12 months), demonstrating confidence in feeding, diapering, bathing, soothing, and sleep routines.
• Knowledge of basic newborn safety, hygiene, and health practices, including sterilizing bottles, preparing milk, and recognizing common signs of baby discomfort.
• Patient, caring, and attentive, with a genuine passion for childcare and early development.
• Strong personal hygiene standards and a keen sense of cleanliness and organization.
• Physically fit and capable of managing night care support as needed (shared arrangement).
• Ability to follow instructions and establish structured daily routines for baby care.
• Basic cooking skills are required.
• Effective communication skills in English (knowledge of Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus).
• Willingness to provide reference contact information from previous employers for verification purposes.
• Previous experience in Asian family is a must
• Previous experience in Singapore/Taiwan/Middleeast is a plus

Working Conditions:

• Location: Fortress Hill.
• Accommodation options: Separate bedroom or shared space with the study room.
• Day off: One weekend day.
• Salary: HK$5,300 to HK$6,000, commensurate with experience.
• Start date: December 2026.
