Experienced Household Assistant / Family Helper (Live-In)

We are seeking an individual who aspires to take on a long-term position and is passionate about caring for children and managing household responsibilities effectively.

Childcare Responsibilities

• Assist with morning and after-school routines.
• Help with homework and reading.
• Engage in simple play and activities.
• Support bath and bedtime when needed.

Household Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and organization of the home.
• Manage laundry and ironing.
• Handle grocery shopping and household errands.
• Prepare simple, healthy meals (willingness to learn and improve is encouraged).
• Plan ahead for meals and household needs.
• Prepare the home for guests and small gatherings.

Cooking & Meal Planning

• Willing to learn new recipes.
• Able to plan simple weekly meals.
• Adapt to family preferences over time.

Driving

• Willing to learn to drive (we offer full support for training).

Travel & Independence

• Capable of managing the home when the family is away.
• Provide clear and regular updates during our travels.

Communication Expectations

• Communicate clearly (both spoken and written).
• Ask questions when unsure.
• Provide regular updates.
• Be open to feedback and willing to improve.

Schedule

• 6 days per week.
• Flexible hours depending on family needs (usually starting the day at 7:00 am and finishing when the house is tidy and the children are asleep).
