Experienced Live in helper - family w/ 1 toddler

We are looking for an experienced live-in helper to join our family in Hong Kong.

We are a German/Argentinian family with a young toddler and are looking for someone highly responsible, independent, proactive and trustworthy, who is looking for a stable, long-term position with a family.

Independence and initiative are extremely important to us. We need someone who is agile, well-organised and able to anticipate what needs to be done without having to be constantly instructed or supervised. We are looking for someone who takes real ownership of her responsibilities and can manage her daily tasks independently.

Our other main priority is our child. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being with children and understands that caring for a young child goes beyond supervision. We would love someone proactive in supporting his development, playing with him, taking him outdoors, creating age-appropriate activities and helping him learn and explore. The person joining us will become an important part of his everyday life and education, so being caring, engaged, patient and responsible is essential.

Cooking is also very important to us. We eat at home most of the time and are looking for someone who is a very good cook, understands healthy and balanced food, and is confident independently planning meals, grocery shopping and managing the kitchen. Ideally, she should know Hong Kong markets well and be comfortable sourcing good-quality fresh ingredients at a good price.
