Happy Valley Chinese family looking for helper

We are a family with two 10-year-old girls and are looking for a responsible, organized and experienced helper to join our family.

Our two most important requirements are cleaning and cooking.

1. Cleaning and household organization

We have a high standard of cleanliness and are looking for someone who is careful, thorough and pays attention to details. Daily cleaning and maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organized home will be an important part of the job.

We hope our helper can work independently, organize her daily tasks well, and notice what needs to be done without always waiting for instructions.

2. Cooking

Cooking is equally important to us. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys cooking and has good experience preparing Chinese food.

On most days, we would like a simple lunch and a more substantial family dinner. We value variety, healthy ingredients and good home cooking.

Experience with Western food and baking would also be a strong advantage.

Most importantly, we hope to find someone who is interested in food, willing to learn new recipes, and happy to improve her cooking skills. We are also happy to share recipes and try new dishes together.

3. Grocery shopping and meal planning

The helper should be comfortable going independently to supermarkets, wet markets or designated shops to buy groceries and household supplies.

We would appreciate someone who can gradually become familiar with the family's preferences, help plan meals, prepare shopping lists, keep track of household supplies and make sensible purchasing decisions.
