LIVE-IN DOMESTIC HELPER – HONG KONG | FINISHED CONTRACT ONLY

We are a family of four with two boys, aged 4 and 1, looking for an experienced live-in helper to join our family long-term.

We are only considering helpers who have finished or are about to finish their current contract in Hong Kong.

We are looking for a strong all-round helper who is excellent with young children, a confident cook and takes pride in keeping a home very clean and organised.

ChildcareYou must genuinely enjoy spending time with children, not simply supervise them. We are looking for someone warm, patient, playful and affectionate who naturally talks to the children, reads and plays with them, thinks of activities and enjoys taking them out.

You should be confident caring for both children independently and be calm and kind when children are upset, having tantrums or being difficult. When you are responsible for the children, they are the priority.

CookingBeing a good cook is very important to our family. You should enjoy cooking and be confident preparing family meals. We eat a wide variety of cuisines and regularly use recipes, so you must be able to follow recipes and instructions accurately and be willing to learn new dishes.

Cleaning & householdWe have high standards for our home and are looking for someone who:• Cleans thoroughly with good attention to detail• Is experienced with laundry and good at ironing• Keeps the home tidy and organised• Takes good care of clothes, furniture and belongings• Follows instructions carefully and consistently• Remembers routines once they have been explained• Works efficiently and manages her time well• Is proactive and notices what needs doing without always being asked

About you• Currently in Hong Kong and finished/about to finish your contract• Experienced with babies/toddlers and young children• Warm, patient and energetic• Honest, responsible and safety-conscious• Proactive while also respecting and following the parents’ instructions• Good spoken English and communication• First-aid training is a big advantage• Looking for a stable, long-term position

We are hands-on parents and are looking for someone we can trust with both our children and our home and who would like to stay with our family long-term.
