Second helper wanted - salary up to $6500

We are a Western family in the New Territories looking for a second helper to join our home. We already have one helper, and the two of you would share the work as a team. Teamwork matters a great deal to us, so we are looking for someone who communicates well with a colleague and is happy to step in for each other.

The role is mainly focused on our two children. Our daughter is 4 and full of questions. Our son is 1.5 and into everything. Days are spent playing, reading stories, crafts, singing, and getting out of the house, so we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys this age group and has the energy to keep up. If you bring your own ideas for things to do with them, even better.

Alongside the children, there is cooking and meal preparation to help with, plus general help keeping the household running. Healthy food and healthy living are important to us, and we cook fresh meals for the family, so an interest in that side of things goes a long way here. We have two dogs, both friendly, so you would need to be comfortable living with pets.

A little about us. We try to run a calm, respectful home, for our children and for the people who work with us. Working hours are fair and predictable, and we communicate directly. We would always rather know when something is not working.

What we offer:

• HKD 6,500 per month, depending on experience
• Fair, reasonable working hours
• Your own private sleeping space in the helper room
• Days off on a rotating Saturday or Sunday
• Private cooking lessons with a Michelin trained chef, a real skill to take with you
