Family Seeking Experienced Live-In Helper

We are a warm & welcoming Scottish family with two young children: 2 year old boy and 8-month old girl. As we are preparing to relocate from Singapore to Hong Kong we are currently seeking a live-in helper to join our family. Husband works full time and I’m currently on a career break with plan to start working again in the future.

Primary duties would be cooking/baking (with ability to follow western recipes) & housekeeping. Main focus will be childcare when both parents are working, though our 2-year old will go to preschool.

Preference to have prior experience working for families with young children and genuinely enjoy childcare, treating our children with kindness and empathy. We appreciate a positive attitude & happy demeanour.

All Sundays and public holidays would be off & fully respected, with some half day Saturdays also. At least one trip home per year paid for.

Helper would be given own room (helper area) in apartment. Apartment location is still TBC as we are searching (likely Mid-Levels or Happy Valley). We plan to move into new home around the start of November 2026 so our helper could join from then. We are willing to wait a couple of months for the right candidate, but have strong preference for someone already in HK and finishing their contract.

Salary would be based on individual experience. Must be able to provide contact details for previous employer for referencing.
