Helper for Eldlerly Chinese Lady and Daughter

Full-Time Live-In Elderly Care Helper Needed

We are looking for a kind, cheerful, patient and reliable full-time live-in helper to care for my elderly female, 79 years old elderly, 36 kg.

Household of 2 females, in a 2.5 bedroom condo, 79yr old and 55 yr old.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, compassionate daily care and companionship.

• Elderly is able to dress and wash herself but may need assistance if she is ill, and will need help occassionally with personal hygiene, dressing and other daily activities as needed.

• Help with tube feeding and follow her prescribed feeding routine.

• Monitor her general well-being and alert the family to any concerns.

• Keep her living area clean, comfortable and organised.

• Housekeeping, cooking. Grocery shopping occassionally.

Requirements

• Previous experience caring for elderly people is a plus but not most important.

• Experience NOT required for tube feeding (we will train).

• Must be patient, cheerful, gentle and compassionate, with a genuine interest in elderly care.

• Responsible, attentive, very hygienic and trustworthy. (elderly has very high standards for hygiene and housework to be done exactly her way)

• Able to communicate clearly with the family and follow care instructions carefully.

• Willing to work full-time and live in. We will provide good sized room with large windows.
