Looking for a Caring & Responsible Helper

We are a Chinese family of four living in a 5-room HDB in Singapore. We are looking for a kind, responsible and trustworthy helper to join our family. Availability We are looking for a helper who can start work on or around 1 October 2026, as our current helper will be returning to her home country after completing her contract. About Our Family * 2 working adults * 2 boys (6 years old and 4 years old) * No elderly to care for Accommodation * Helper will have her own room. * As our children grow older, room arrangements may change in the future. If that happens, we will always discuss it openly and ensure the helper has a comfortable place to rest. Main Responsibilities * Prepare the boys for school and send them to school in the morning. * Fetch them after school. * Accompany or send them to enrichment classes when required. * Spend quality time with the children by playing, talking and engaging in age-appropriate activities. * Shower the boys and help with their bedtime routine. * Prepare and cook simple home-cooked meals for the family (no complicated cooking required). * General housekeeping, including: * Cleaning the house * Laundry * Hanging, folding and ironing clothes * Mopping/vacuuming * Cleaning bathrooms * Organising the children’s toys and belongings * Keeping the home neat, clean and organised. On weekdays, both employers are at work and the children are in school. During the daytime, the helper will mainly complete the routine housework and prepare dinner. We Are Looking For Someone Who Is: * Loves children and genuinely enjoys caring for them. * Patient, caring and speaks kindly to children. * Honest, trustworthy and responsible. * Mature and able to work independently. * Takes initiative and completes daily tasks without needing repeated reminders. * Observant and attentive to household details, with good housekeeping habits. * Takes pride in keeping the home clean, tidy and organised. * Responsible and attentive during working hours. * Enjoys spending time and interacting with children. * Willing to learn and accept guidance. * Able to take instructions and follow thru * Able to cook simple home meals or willing to learn. * Good personal hygiene. * Non-smoker. * Able to communicate in English. Simple Mandarin is an advantage. Salary * Salary starting from S$650/month, negotiable based on experience, skills, and previous employment history. * Helper will eat the same meals as our family. If she occasionally prefers something different, she is welcome to cook for herself. Rest Day Our preferred arrangement is 1 rest day per month due to our family’s work schedule. However, we understand the importance of rest days and are open to discussing an arrangement that works well for both parties. If additional rest days are preferred, weekday rest days are generally easier to arrange than weekends. Our Family Values We believe in treating our helper with kindness, fairness and respect.
