Senior Nanny / Family Support Specialist

***Please note, this is not a typical helper's job. We are looking for a super-nanny-helper, and willing to pay a higher salary. Please ONLY apply if:

About Our Family

We are a warm, multicultural family living in Singapore. Parents (Mom: Chinese‑Canadian, Dad: British) work full-time and have three young children. We also live with Grandma (April) and two cats.

The household has two helpers; one will focus on general housework and caring for adults. We are hiring/upgrading the second helper into a Mary Poppins–style nanny dedicated solely to the children.

Role Overview

A loving, structured, experienced nanny-helper who can confidently manage three young children, oversee their routines, and support their learning and development. You will coordinate with the other helper to keep the household running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities Childcare & Daily Routine

• Full care for three children (ages 3–5)
• Maintain daily schedules: morning routine, school drop-off/pick up, meals, evening routine, bedtime
• Prepare simple, healthy kids’ meals and snacks
• Handle children’s laundry and wardrobe organization
• Ensure all kids’ school homework / activities are tracked and completed

Learning & Activities

• Plan and supervise after-school activities
• Coordinate and organize playdates, plan kids parties
• Support homework, reading, and basic learning routines
• Engage the kids in creative play and structured activities

Behavior & Development

• Teach manners, routines, and emotional regulation
• Guide behavior gently but firmly
• Provide a calm, nurturing presence when parents are not around

Household Coordination (Kids Only)

• Keep children’s rooms, toys, and belongings tidy
• Work with the other helper (who manages adult and general housework)
• Communicate daily updates to parents

Requirements

• Strong, verified recommendations from previous families (non‑negotiable)
• Experience working in households with multiple young children, ideally similar in age (3–5 years old)
• Exceptional patience — calm, steady temperament is the #1 priority**
• 5+ years childcare experience (toddler to early primary) (toddler to early primary)
• Strong English; Mandarin or French is a plus
• Confident handling multiple young children and can plan kids parties
• Warm, patient, structured, reliable
• Organized and proactive, able to plan schedules and activities
